Kudzu Root (Pueraria), Chinese name of Ge-gen is a perennial, trailing or climbing vine. The whole plant is covered with brown villous. Often, it is chopped into thick pieces while used as medicine. And it appears to be white or brown, fibroid, rough and harvest in spring or autumn with the rhizome digged out. Pueraria extract has been introduced just recently. With modern extraction technology, the extract from dried roots is standardized and prepared in the form of powder and solution. We use the food grade ethanol and the purified water to perform the extraction and purification. The spay drying and the packing is operated in the GMP standard clean workshop to ensure there is no extra contaminants.
